It looks as if a lot of pieces are heading into place for Facebook to emphasize mobile videos more and more into all of their product offerings. Not only did Facebook recently add videos to Messenger and launch auto-playing video ads, but they're also recently testing out a recommended videos feature on their mobile apps. Much like what happens when a YouTube video ends, you'll see thumbnails for other videos you can watch immediately after. Combined with their acquisition of video ad technology company LiveRail for nearly half a billion dollars, it looks like Facebook is going all in on mobile videos. Faced with healthy competition from YouTube and other social sites for page views, this is a welcome development for advertisers on Facebook.
