Ordinarily a minor redesign wouldn't be major news, but when you're talking about a like button that gets displayed tens of billions of times across the internet every day, this might be considered a big deal. Facebook has redesigned their like button to be a darker blue and simplified it with a tiny Facebook logo and the word "Like" on it. Hopefully this is a positive move forward for advertisers and brands that are hoping to get more likes.
